WHY DO WE OFTEN NOT RESPOND TO CARDIOLOGY SYMPTOMS?

That is why they should be kept under control.

TODAY, WHEN WE ARE PRESSED BY THE COVID PANDEMIC, WE MUST NOT FORGET HOW VULNERABLE WE ARE IN THAT ZONE.

FINALLY, HEART AND LUNGS ARE, COLLOQUIALLY SAID, ONE PUMP AND THAT COMPLICATES THE WHOLE THING.

Throughout life, without stopping, the heart pumps blood rich in oxygen to every part of our body. This enables every part of our body to function normally. In order for it to be able to perform that function, it must have enough oxygen and the necessary nutrients. That feeding takes place through the coronary arteries. It is important that they are passable, because then the heart functions normally, getting everything it needs to work. However, when the blood vessels are narrowed or blocked by fatty deposits/plaque/, the oxygen supply is blocked. The heart is damaged in that area. The heart cells die and the damaged tissue in the heart permanently loses its ability to contract in that area.

It is important to point out that, if there is a small plaque in the blood vessel, we have a manifestation /pain/, only during physical activity.

This is known in cardiology as ANGINA PECTORIS. However, most often, without treatment and other preventive features, the process progresses. The fat deposit/plaque/ becomes larger and it narrows the blood vessel. Oxygen is getting less and less. The pain is felt even at rest and a heart attack may develop. If the plaque ruptures, a blood clot may also develop. Heart tissue dies, a scar forms in that place and the heart can no longer pump adequately in that area. That stage is life-threatening.

In order to prevent all of the above, we must be ONE STEP AHEAD OF THE EVENT!

Especially, if genetics/hereditary factor/ is not in our favor. WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW, LET’S GO INTO THAT

DIRECTION? The mitigating circumstance is: that we CAN INFLUENCE many risk factors, to prevent that disaster.

One of the most important factors – high blood pressure/arterial hypertension/, an insidious disease, which due to lifestyle, nowadays/diet, inactivity, stress/attacks and younger age groups. Pressure higher than 140/90 mm Hg, is already worrying. High fat in the blood/cholesterol/. The ideal is 5mmol/l. It is dangerous when there are high values of bad cholesterol LDL, over 3mmol/L, which sticks to the walls of blood vessels. It is important that HDL, the good cholesterol, is above 1.2 mmol/L. Its role is to collect LDL and carry it back to the liver. Diabetes is a major risk factor. The World Health Organization has declared FAT as a disease. Along with physical inactivity and smoking/even passive/, it helps in the development of cardiovascular diseases and the huge risk of developing a HEART ATTACK. Pay attention to changes

in the urinary tract, preeclampsia during pregnancy/increased pressure over 140/90 mm hg/, as well as various auroimmune diseases/rheumatoid arthritis etc/, all of these can be triggers that can lead to this drastic disease.

So advice:

ALL HEALTHY PERSONS AFTER THE AGE OF 50 SHOULD HAVE A COMPLETE EXAMINATION OF THE HEART EVERY 1-2 YEARS. HOWEVER, THE RISK GROUPS ARE ALSO SMOKING AFTER OVER THE AGE OF 45.

30 godina sa vama. Hvala na povjerenju!
